Smithfield (Cairns) Terminal
Skyrail’s Smithfield Terminal is located 15 minutes drive from Cairns City and 50 minutes south of Port Douglas.
The terminal is easily accessed by Skyrail’s bus transfer service. Free parking is available with dedicated parking for RV’s and caravans and an electric vehicle charge station.

Discover Red Peak – it’s a jungle down there!

Discover Barron Falls – a prehistoric landscape
Known as Dindin to the Djabuganydji people – Barron Falls is a sacred place that has been an important part of their storytelling for thousands of years.
While it is a spectacular sight at any time of the year, it really comes into its own during the wet season (December to March), when tropical rains bring the waterfall to life.
Exploring the spectacular, rugged beauty and pioneering history is an experience not to be missed. Plan to spend around 20 minutes discovering the rainforest stories of Barron Falls.

Kuranda Terminal
Located near the banks of the mighty Barron River, Kuranda Terminal is the start or finish point of your rainforest experience.
Inside you’ll find a range of facilities including ticketing, souvenir gift shop, cold drinks and snacks, souvenir photos, restrooms and a Skyrail Rainforest Foundation donation point.
The Skyrail terminal is located next to the Kuranda Railway Station and is a short walk from Kuranda village, renowned for its eclectic mix of markets, stalls, arts & crafts, cafes and restaurants.
