At Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, we’re committed to supporting the North Queensland community.
As a local, family-owned Cairns business, we’re passionate about making a positive impact and we are dedicated to supporting North Queenslanders. We have a long history of supporting a variety of initiatives, causes, charities and local, non-profit organisations dedicated to a variety of causes in the North Queensland region. Our support also extends further afield with support for a number of national organisations.
Requesting Support
We invite North Queensland based schools, individuals, not-for-profit and community organisations to submit requests for non-monetary sponsorship and prizes for fundraising activities. Our priority is to support projects and initiatives with a focus on:
- Sustainability Initiatives
- Community Support
- Youth Development
- Indigenous Culture
- Disability & Assistance
Please note: We generally exclude fundraising for sporting club and team trips.
Consideration will be given to initiatives that support rainforest, environmental and sustainablitlity initiatives, community welfare, local community and charity support, disabilities or assistance programmes, youth development and empowerment, Indigenous community development, and the travel and tourism industry. If you’re part of a North Queensland organisation that shares our commitment to making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for in-kind sponsorship through prize donations.

Our commitment to our environment
At Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, we take pride in our commitment to making a positive impact in both our community and the environment. Our efforts are reflected in a variety of sustainability initiatives, including a dedicated team known as ‘The Skyrail Sustainables’. We host and participate in green space regeneration and local clean-up events, inviting the community to join us to help preserve our local area.
